Subway - 6 Inch: Kinetic Typography + Motion Graphics

A kinetic-typography spot for Subway Canada’s 6-inch promo—built with custom 3D type and clean EN/FR versioning.

For Subway Canada’s 6-inch promotion, I created a type-led motion spot where the messaging drives the energy—featuring custom 3D text built in After Effects, playful interactions, and product-aware staging. I delivered English and French versions along with cutdowns and multi-dimension exports, keeping hierarchy, timing, and readability consistent across every format.

❋ More Details
  • A Subway Canada promo built around kinetic typography, designed to make the offer instantly readable while keeping the spot energetic and product-forward.

  • As Motion Designer, I animated the text throughout and created custom 3D type directly in After Effects, ensuring the messaging stayed clear and engaging across all versions.

  • I blocked timing and typographic hierarchy first, then layered in interaction moments: depth passes, object-aware staging, and 3D type beats. Before versioning the system for bilingual delivery and additional cut-downs.

  • “Type-as-object” motion was used to add personality without distracting from the offer. Prioritizing bold hierarchy, clean pacing, and moments where typography reacts to the environment and product.

  • Interactions and timing were refined to balance impact with legibility, then adapted to French while maintaining the same rhythm and clarity across formats.

  • Final spot delivered in English and French, with supporting cut-downs and multi-dimension exports for campaign roll out.
