A space-themed launch built on deepfake-inspired visuals and cinematic world-building.
Maybelline New York - Sky High (3-Part Campaign)
For Maybelline New York’s Sky High launch, I supported a three-part campaign that blends intergalactic storytelling with a deepfake-inspired aesthetic, highlighting the product primarily through visuals rather than heavy copy. As a Graphic Designer / Concept Artist, I created key concept and design elements (including environment work and hero assets) and developed production-ready visuals to guide 3D/VFX integration across the three spots.

❋ Key Visuals
Space Launch
I designed the mascara planet and nebula as the campaign’s focal point, aiming for high realism so the 2D elements would integrate seamlessly in the final shot. The planet concept also served as a guide for the 3D team during development. I then built a realistic outer-space background system, tuning composition, palette, and star placement. Then added subtle star twinkle animation to bring the scene to life.

Astronaut (branding in the suit)
For the Astronaut spot, I designed a suit that felt true to Maybelline by weaving the signature packaging pink into the materials and details. The final design served as a guide for 3D texturing. I also built the environment, compositing a high-res Earth base with illustrated nebulas and stars, to emphasize scale and “deep space” atmosphere.
Cryo-Chamber (integration + logo)
After early background direction shifted, I supported the final Cryo-Chamber setup by placing the chamber into a new cityscape and ensuring the Maybelline logo integrated cleanly into the design. The result was a sleek, futuristic scene aligned with the campaign’s bold vision and photoreal finish.
