DIGITAL ILLUSTRATIONS

My illustrative style uses striking colours, high contrast, and expressive features to capture a sense of nostalgia and authenticity. Combining coarse granulated textures, rough lines, and out-of-focus subjects, I try to achieve surreal, dreamlike compositions that give a raw glimpse into human experiences.

Created for Inktober 2023, inspired by the prompt 'Toad,' this piece draws from nocturnal photography of amphibians captured under the cover of night. The artwork focuses on a singular point of light reflecting in the toad's eyes, highlighting the eerie glow that draws the viewer in and amplifies the creature's mysterious presence.

This floral study showcases a distinctive illustration style that blends radiant light with a nostalgic warmth. Through high contrast and the rich textures of traditional mediums, it captures nature’s imperfections, evoking the comforting glow of treasured memories.

This illustration, with its darkly clever title, serves up disappointment in a glass—literally. The half-full red liquid isn’t just a drink; it’s a symbol of pessimism, while the severed fish bleeding onto the tablecloth drives the point home: a negative outlook can spill over into real consequences. With a mix of humor and sharp critique, this piece invites viewers to rethink the “glass half empty” mentality, suggesting there’s more to life than sipping from a cup of doom.

This illustration was inspired by personal episodes of sleep apnea, where the unrest is represented by sinister looming tree branches as the figure awake or asleep faces the scarlet sunrise.

A colour study that attempts to convey a somber mood by utilizing a cool colour palette and incorporating sparkles that are reminiscent of the bright shine from tears.

A challenging part of the human experience involves accepting our imperfections. This illustration is a visual metaphor on how personal flaws can be transformed into an integral part of self-identity. In the composition, a spider symbolizes these weaknesses, its glow illuminates a figure in darkness. This figure courageously accepts their imperfections with an embrace, giving the spider a new light.

A captivating glimpse into the universe we all carry within. Through delicate grain and intricate line work, a radiant galaxy of light encircles a human-like figure, symbolizing the boundless expanse of space that lives inside us all.

Inspired by the lifelong bond of swans, this surreal bouquet captures their enduring connection. The wings of two swans intertwine, overlapping in perfect harmony to form a striking, dynamic arrangement — a poetic tribute to love and unity.
